Where Should I Start?

So we’ll start off by placing our right hand on the keyboard with the fingers slightly curved like this, and we will be placing our hand on the keyboard so that every finger is resting on a particular white key, starting from the thumb on the tone C, all the way to the G with the pinky. So the exercise goes like this. And so forth.

Now, when you feel comfortable playing this with this tempo, you can add up more tempo to the exercises like this. And so forth.

Then you can add up even more tempo to the same exercise like this. And so forth.

So feel free to pause the video and try these exercises and do them until you feel comfortable in playing them. Don’t just rush to the next exercise. This is really important.

OK, so now we go to the next exercise, which is with the left hand. So we’ll start off by placing our left hand to this C right here, which is one octave below this C we just did with our right hand. So and now our pinky will be resting on the C and all the way with the thumb on the tone G. So the exercise will go like this. And so forth.

Then you can add up more tempo the same way we just did with our right hand. So like this. And so forth, then you add up even more tempo like this. And so forth.

I repeat again, feel free to pause the video and take your time doing this exercises to master them.

And now we’re going to the next exercise, which is playing the same exercise only with two of our hands. So the exercise goes like this. And so forth. Next, you know what to do. Add up some more tempo. And so forth. Then you can add up even more tempo like this. And so forth.
